Rob's Story
Rob has coached triathlon for over 12 years and successfully coached individual athletes for the last 10 years, coaching athletes to reach their goals and beyond, including race winners and international selection.
Rob is now following his passion for endurance sports, intending to be the best coach he can be. He has many years of experience in triathlon and has raced at all distances. He is currently embarking on an MSc in Physiology and Nutrition of Sports Exercise studies at Loughborough University.
Rob has the knowledge and experience to improve any determined athlete. He currently coaches with the Army Triathlon Association and the Army Medical Services Triathlon.
Coaching Philosophy
Rob takes a holistic view of what the athlete wants to achieve and works towards achieving that goal. His approach is built on science, reality, and feedback.
If you want to be held accountable for your training with objective feedback and to be supported and guided to maximise your potential, Rob's coaching may be for you.
Rob's coaching style is very much tailored to the needs of the individual athlete, understanding their unique make-up in order to develop effective training habits whilst encouraging 'thinking big'.
